In early December they didn't attack the heat! They attacked the air conditioner only once I sat down. The pizza was all fine, a little too much oil but good. Untreated tables, I found several crumbs on the tablecloth. Price at the end 10 euro for a half liter of water.
In Udine for work by chance I stopped at dinner at this pizzeria/restaurant. Family environment, welcomed by the owner, a very nice person from a clear Friulian accent with some Slavic inflection (road I realized that it is an Albanian immigrant of the first hour), the command was taken of the cook, a lady of Calabrian origins who advised me of the gnocchetti to the really tasty silea and a second of meat with grilled vegetables and potato in pan even if the local specialties are the piggerò
Day around August. Almost all closed. Let's try King Pizza to trust new activities. Apart from the kindness and sympathy of the owner and the cute place remained more or less as it was in the old management, regarding the food we were not satisfied at all. The pizzas nothing that, too thin and not tasty. But it can depend on tastes. The pastasciutte: a gorgonzola and sausage, which should have been the maximum of taste, had the aqueous and almost insipid sauce, the other “in the rock” was almost only of mussels and not who knows that. Everything to review according to us.
We tried this little place in via Bertaldia after the change of management: Fatmir, of Albanian origin but now an institution in the takeaway pizzas in Udine, started this simple restaurant with many pizzas in the menu, but also other meat and fish dishes (to try). The traditional pizzas cost 6 euros, the special ones 7 euros. We took 2 special pizzas and 1 classic with additions. The pizzas are thin, the well cooked and dry pasta. In particular the marinara pizza had too much unsalted tomato and I had to add salt and little garlic, but the owner brought me the bowl with oil and garlic from which I served generously. With 2 large and 1 small beers we spent 37 euros paying with credit card. He offered us the limoncello. The restaurant has 3 rooms and in the last there is the air conditioner. The pizzas were digestible, which is not discounted. The service is fast and kind, the owner is volcanic.
... that I have ever tasted, prepared with care and skill from the owner. The place is harvested and pretty, the account is honest. We'll wait!
