Nero - Überlingen

We found this on Trip Advisor and made a reservation.It is an intimate restaurant with great service.The food was excellent.We had as an appetizer the Carpaccio di manzofeine Scheiben vom rohen Rinderfilet mit Rucola und Grana Padano KäseI had the Saltimbocca vom Stauferico-Schloss-Steakmit Parmaschinken & Salbei, dazu Bandnudeln in heller Bratensoße and it was very tender and delicious.My spouse had Spaghetti al salmonemit Lachsfiletstückchen in Zitronensahnesoße & Basilikum and enjoyed it.The Pinot Grigio was great. Nice and dry and served very cold (not always the case in Germany!)Definitely make this one of your stops when in Überlingen

This is an amazing restaurant! Food, drinks, deserts - mindbending! Waiters and chefs are very kind and polite. Very cozy and lovely atmosphere! It is an amazing place to have a dinner and spend great time with friends and family!

A basic little pizza and pasta place. Nothing special. We only went here because all the other restaurants were closed. Service was friendly.

A nice small restaurant, nice ambient. Italian style as it should be. Quiet and romantic place, for making dinners. Food presentational (5) nice and decorated. Taste of authentic of the Italian food. Expect smaller portion, other than that very nice. Personal (5) nice and kind, the way it should be. On distance, but here if you need something. Above all recommendable.

This was our second choice but it should have been our first. We find that pizza shops and ice cream parlors are often the highest ranked restaurants at trip advisor. I guess it's because of volume. But this is not just a pizza place! It is a full menu of freshly made Italian food. Almost a quarter of the menu is written on a daily special blackboard. This is a great Value for your money in a country that requires an arm and a leg for one serving of, well, leg of lamb. It isn't a large dining area but the tables are large and the room is warm and antique looking. The lighting is soft and there is an alcove for intimate dining. Our waitress was terrific as she tried to help us figure things out with humor. There is also a bar downstairs. We both had Tagliatelle, mine with mushrooms and my friend's with salmon trout. They were both freshly made sauces and delicious.
