This is both regional, because the Uelzen area is an absolute white spot on the map of the farms we visited, as well as the offer of bio, which we have not yet experienced in this form. Service We entered the cafe in the Uelzener railway station around approx. 6:00 p.m. and were received immediately with the notice we only opened until 18.30. Only on weekends is open until 20.30. This was the opening time known to us. It followed the indication of a possible reservation, with which we would have experienced this in time. Overall, the service was anything but friendly. Shortly afterwards she came and asked for the drinks. We decided quickly for drinks and food from the very clear menu. We were asked twice in the course of dinner if everything is okay. When we confirmed that the dishes tasted very well, their stressed face was brightened and later we were very well looked after and there was still a nice conversation about the gastronomy in Uelzen and the shortage of skilled workers in general. Food The menu includes four pages, one with desserts and 6 pages of drinks card. Here is almost all organic. Many of Bioland and Demeter. We opted for a sliced schnitzel from the lübchiner straw pig with champignon cream, pommes frites and Lässig salad as well as fried zander fillet, with Riesling butter, rosemary spices and also a Lässig salad. The cream sauce and mushrooms were very good. The panned scavenger was tastefully flattered, but slightly dark fried from one side. The zander fillet with the Riesling butter was very good. A few gooses didn't change the good rating. Overall, the fillet was well fried and not too dry. We experienced an A-ha experience with our wine order. We chose a dry Grauburgunder. The colour of the wine in the glass looked somewhat strange. A dark yellow, as with a white wine stored too long. A first cautious sample showed: The wine is inedible. We asked the service carft again to the table. She explained that the wine is also organic wine and the color for a organic wine is completely normal. The bottle was reopened. The wine was not tipped. Well, organic does not have to taste everyone. Ambiente The Uelzener Hundertwasser Station is a former Expo project, where hundreds of water has truly perpetrated. The colourful columns in the hall are partly decorated with mosaic, partly painted. A small exhibition with very different pictures on canvas is located on the right left of the entrance in the cafe. Adjacent to the restaurant was the left hand of the Bahhof area. In the cafe, the floor consists of old stone or terracotta tiles. The bright table and leather furniture have considerable traces of use. Through the leather bench, which once moves through the entire cafe along the window front, the whole is loosened and looks a little more cozy. When the guest goes through the cafe, there is a counter with a cake cooling in the middle left. As you continue, the guest reaches the rear area where the brunch offer is served. Cleanliness Cleanliness was fine. For a train station gastronomy even good. Price/performance appropriate
