Feedback gevenHaving a high-quality pizza oven doesn't necessarily mean you can create great pizza. Anchovies shouldn't resemble or taste like mackerel. Traditional Italian pizzas are made with flour, not semolina. Charging £40 for two relatively small pizzas and two soft drinks is simply unacceptable.
The pizza is excellent, but the other menu items are lacking in quality. The Kids Pollo Milanese was misleading—it was just cheap, processed chicken. Priced at £6.50 for three pieces, the quality was terrible and the portion size was disappointingly small. If you decide to visit, stick with the pizza!
The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and efficient (goodness knows what happens at Brexit, given none were British) but the kitchen lets them down. The food doesn 't rise above mid range cafeteria quality. Prices are acceptable for the quality but expectations were higher for a 'resort ' property.
The pizza was excellent, prepared in a traditional Italian charcoal oven. We didn't try any pasta since we had read some negative reviews about it. The service was very good, although we were initially overlooked at the entrance while waiting to be seated. The ambiance was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant was also quite easy to reach on foot from the McDonald's Highlands Resort.
Food was absolutely gorgeous and staff were very warm and welcoming especially Marina.
