Mango Tree Cafe and Restaurant

Sign on Window says open for lunch, but last 3 visits have been closed and no sign of anyone there. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

This restaurant is in a prime location, with stunning views. However it seems the owners do not utilise this to their advantage. The windows were very dirty.The food was quite nice, especially the entree. Having the waiter talking on his phone most of the night, was a bit of a downside. As it destroyed the tranquility of the restaurant that I was just beginning to see.I believe only one word sums this restaurant up, average.

We chose this restaurant wanting Indian and it had over the water views to the bay, however we could only notice all night how dirty the windows were, for a place advertising on this, I would have thought these would be clean. The food however was delicious and the service was really friendly and quick enough. Everything was well priced. The only other negative was the restaurant music was controlled by his phone and was always getting text and calls, wasn't good for the atmosphere or privacy of conversation.Was a nice night but would not return.

Lovely spot over looking the Ulladulla Harbour . We went there a lunch time. The chicken madras and lamb rogan josh were excellent. Both had a deepest flavours generated but a wonderful mix of Indian spices cooked to our chilli hot taste.The bread and rice were light and enjoyable. All in all would recommend this place to any curry lovers travelling down the south coast.

Waited 45 mins for our meal and were the only people in the restaurant. They brought out 4 papadums after 30 mins-there were 5 of us! Meal was ordinary at best. Generic sauce in 3 of the 5 dishes. Only difference being coconut sprinkled on one dish and pistachio on another. Would not go back. Nice view of the harbour the only positive.
