It's a very nice place, I ate good things. The staff is kind. It is located in the center of the city. Recommended.
We had lunch. Unfriendly waitress. Food was okay. Asked for a Diet Coke or Coca Cola Zero but was served a local brand which I refused. When I objected I was told “but we don’t have Coca Cola”. She should have said that when I...ordered
I recently visited Ulm and spent a delightful day wandering around the city center and exploring historic places (well, remnants and recreations of historic places, since so much of the original city was destroyed in Allied bombing raids in WWII). I had lunch at the...Cafe Restaurant im Stadthaus. The setting was absolutely delightful an outdoor table with a huge yellow umbrella providing plenty of shade, right in front of the handsome Richard Meier designed city hall building. Service was good fast and friendly. I ordered the German mac and cheese , sort of a white cheese melted on spaetzle, with roasted onions on top. It wasn 't very good, but the salad they served with it was great. And, my poor menu choice didn 't make a dent in how much I enjoyed sitting outside on such a beautiful public square.
.we haven't tried it yet, but I'm definitely curious if another visit is worth it. we came by with a friend on a coffee and johannisbeerschorle. the location is great, undoubtedly, but the service is, well, comparable bad as almost everywhere in Germany ...
