Café Lindell - Umea

Restaurant in the Umeå university building, centrally located, just steps from the library and in the top of a lecture hall. Amazing lunch buffet and drinks are served for students and visitors. Beautiful employees take care of the customers in a relaxed environment.

I love this place of the university! Perfect if you want to take a fika with some friends, or in place not too quiet, but also not too loud (especially outside the lunch time).

The opening hours are great, the staff is always friendly, the selection of food and drinks is quite good, especially considering the location.

A café that also serves daily lunch. Okay prices, possibly a bit high considering that the customers are largely students. Good seating and a bright, airy space high up in the same building as the library.

A practical café with a wide variety of offers. They have many different sorts of sandwiches and snacks, as well as candies and pastries. Two lunch options are available here, you either order a meal from the three daily meals they offer, or a buffé. (Take-away is available too). They also sell coffee, tea, ans espresso. The view here is very nice, you can see a big part of the campus from there. Since it is located at the heart of the university, it gets very crowded, some might think it's a noisy place, and some see it as a good opportunity to meet people. The two down sides of this café are that the prices here are higher than the rest of the cafeterias at the university, and that sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because of how crowded it gets.
