I didn't get to use the amenities they had, but that pool area looked amazing and one of my friends who had breakfast said it was pretty good as well and he also liked their fitness center. There was an issue with two of my bookings made through Priceline and even though it was Priceline's fault, the assistant manager Mitchell was so helpful in helping me get a refund from them and I feel bad because I was initially testy due to the misinformation the Priceline customer service rep was giving me and she misquoted Mitchell's words so communicating with him directly on my own was what really helped. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the future.
Beds and pillows were extremely comfy, room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was nice and the water pressure in the shower was superb. Pool was nice and hot tub was amazing! Highly recommended. Price point was affordable too ?
My friend I stayed at this hotel on the 7th floor from 9/3 9/4/2023 and had a very nice experience. We were there to see the Great Van Fleet show at the Xcel that evening and we had very positive interactions with their staff. Before we went to the show, we at at the bar in the hotel, McKnight's Kitchen Tap. My friend and I sat at the bar and chatted with Sienna or Sierra, and she was a riot. We ordered the same burger the Balsamic Blue and said it was the best burger we've ever had. Then at 6:30 pm, Derrick/Derek, another employee, drove us in the shuttle van to the Xcel. He was really nice and friendly. Our room (704) was really nice and clean. We both loved the big, down filled pillows on each bed. They were bigger than many of the recent hotels I stayed at where you're lucky if it's much bigger than a throw pillow. Next time I stay in St. Paul, I will definitely return to this hotel.
Room these days never seem up to satisfactory, but it was a decent stay. Nice
Staff was crabby and never said hi. There was no TV remote in room and when staff was told they said they would work on it but never got one. The room was dirty when we arrived, dirt on walls and in bathroom. The room next to us had put trash out in the hallway as the rooms only get cleaned every 5th day and it sat in the hallway for almost 2 days. It was still there when we left. We were down for a funeral and would of found a different place to stay if the other hotels weren't booked due to the state fair. Also not very safe when they are painting by the stairwell and there is plastic up basically blocking the exit.
