John's Pizza Café

This is a solid casual pizza joint, and the burgers are pretty good, too. Great fries and waffle style sweet potato fries. I gave the food 3 stars because it doesn't travel well. Ordered take out the other night, and the fries were tepid and soggy when I got home which is literally just down the street. ?‍ Bonus for eco friendly containers. On the other hand, if you eat in the restaurant, it's great for what it is. The folks who work there feel like the friends you'd have over for an impromptu BBQ on a summer afternoon. So, I recommend John's Pizza Café, but I also recommend you eat there. Great for a casual date. Not a bad spot for kids, either. Plenty of room. Great atmosphere for a neighborhood pizza shop. Outdoor seating, too. Street parking, but I've never had a problem finding a spot. Parking: Street parking Kid friendliness: It's fine for kids who can live through a meal without a playground. Definitely kid favorite foods available.

The best part was there was a white police officer getting some food. I just said hi and he said don't let the badge fool you, I'm appalled at Israel and the US supporting this genocide. I almost gave him a hug ?. I did ask about those towers placed by school and he said he couldn't talk about that ?.

First time visiting John's Pizza. Great menu. The hand tossed Works pizza was excellent. The Medium fed 2 of us. Charmaine was working the counter, the phones and the tables. She was pleasant and efficient. This place is a must try, you will not be disappointed!

Friday April 27th my children and had just got into town and decided to come here for a bite to eat. As I was ordering I had my children sitting down playing on their phone and a white male In his 50’s approached them calling them stupid, dumb and more names and saying that they needed to learn how to behave act plus more. My daughter told me right after so I approached him asking him what he said to my children and he said it wasn’t any of business then went on to say I need to teach them better carrying on.. I walked back to the employee and told her what happened and they handled the situation immediately. We were called the “NIGGER” multiple times by the male. As bad as I wanted to react he couldn’t get a reaction out of me. The manager put him out and made sure my children and I were safe the whole entire time. I called the cops to avoid us being harmed because of a “HATE CRIME”. My husband showed up and the male was arrested after having multiple warrants and being intoxicated.. God handled the situation and saved me from a bad reaction. I can’t thank the staff enough for handling the incident and making sure we were safe. That will not stop us from going to the restaurant and we’ll be back.. ??
