On this occasion I had the jackfruit wrap and the homemade ginger beer. The wrap was delicious and filled me right up. The ginger beer was ok, but it had an unusual taste, almost as if it had been made using cough sweets. The second time I went was for lunch and brought my laptop with me to do some work. Almost all of the tables for 2 have at least one charging point which I was pleasantly surprised by. There were a number of people working from there so I wasn't the only one with my laptop out. They separate the restaurant into the tables of two on one side and the larger tables on the other, so predominantly the tables of two were used by laptop users such as myself, and the other section inhabited by families and friend groups who were far enough away to not distract us workers. I had a coffee (not pictured but it wasn't very good. I have as yet only found one good coffee place in the Uluwatu area (BGS Surf Shop and Coffee Bar . They have alternative milks including almond, soy and oat at an additional cost. Never the less, I stayed and had the Vegan Morning Glory which was a bun filled with a hash brown, sundried tomatoes, caramelised onion relish, spinach and a vegan egg. It was delicious! Highly recommend! In fact, I'd tried to order it the first time I was there but since it was on the breakfast menu they only serve it until 4pm. What I'm saying is, my hopes were high and my expectations were not dashed by the reality. I followed this up by a Peace Pop, salted caramel and cashew. I like the idea of them having vegan ice cream paddles, but this one was rather too salty for my liking. Also, since it was a warm day (when isn't it warm in Bali?! the whole thing melted somewhat quicker than I could eat it and mess ensued. The entirety of my lunch work took a few hours and at no point did they rush me or ask me to move or tell me I'd overstayed my welcome, which I really appreciated. The service was good, attentive when it needed to be, but not overly so.
The restaurant is directly on the mainstreet and easy to finde. We had the vegan pizza and a bowl. Both was delicious! But the highlight was the big selection of vegan desserts!
They have the most kind staff that remembered my name and would talk to me when i visited. The food is very good and they definitely have the most options. Price is also very decent for such good food and for it‘s location. The vegan morning glory or the pizza were my favorites but their smoothie bowls are also amazing! I‘d give it 5 stars if i could
The vegan breakfast is really good, especially the vegan eggs! However I find the main menu has limited vegan options. Would be nice if they offered more vegan options on the main menu like vegan pizza but overall lovely place with nice vibes
Huge eat in cafe. Very “instagram”, but that can be a perk. Tons of seating. Some communal tables. Lots of people working on laptops. Very well-staffed, staff are confident and paying attention. Friendly and will remember you when you come back! Vegan gluten-free labels they asked for any allergies when I ordered, there were some misprints in the menu with gf so it’s best to check with the staff. For the price, quality and portions are totally fair and equal to similar places in Bali.
