Jerk Palace Carribean Cuisine

We went through the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. The food was okay.... average. And then the service was very good and friendly. We ordered curry goat with white rice, which was good.....a jerk pork dinner, that was good.. The rice and the peas were very good, peeled and dry and the food was not salty at all, as many other restaurants tend to use too much salt. For what we didn't like.... we had problems with our other meals... Oxtail, Brown Stew Chicken... For us... too much tan... I mean, they were literally so dark brown, they saw almost black... too much sugar in the oxtail... As a Jamaican, it was too sweet for us....and too much to season with MSG. You could smell it when you open every box. Overall no terrible experience.

Everything I've tried here is excellent. The women at the counter are always friendly. I really enjoy the chicken—it’s some of the best Jamaican food in the area.

This is the best Jamaican restaurant in Union City! My partner and I absolutely love it here, and we end up dining here about three times a week.

I really enjoy Jamaican food because it's delicious, and this place truly excels in cooking and flavor! I ordered the small Chicken Ruck plate with rice and peas and medium oxtail gravy (and I mean medium in terms of quantity!), along with some plantains. The chicken was tender, and the cabbage was fantastic! Everything was amazing—this has become my new favorite Jamaican spot! I’m definitely coming back. On my second visit, I tried their oxtails, and they were the best I've ever had!

I haven't been here in years ever since I moved, but I owe this place a 5 star review. I would go here for lunch, and their jerk chicken was marinated down to the BONE. It was so delicious... and their sides were good, too. I'll visit again someday.
