Noches De Colombia - Union City

I ordered a Mal y Tierra stir-fry, and when I got home, I was super excited to dive in, only to find that it arrived completely dry and without any sauce. I tried to call the restaurant to inform them about the mix-up, but the cashier was unhelpful. I even asked if I could return the untouched food, but I was told there was nothing they could do. The customer service was really disappointing. The location in Jersey City Heights offers much better service.

I wasn't aware of their special pricing before 5 PM, but my family and I arrived at 4:45 PM and were shown to our table. However, we didn’t receive service until 5:05 PM. The waitstaff were excellent at bringing our food and drinks, but I think they could improve their demeanor to be a bit more natural when speaking.

I was treated very differently knowing that I don’t belong to this culture that I love . Long story short I had ordered a dish that was under seafood section but they brought it with pork and when I asked to change to fish for me the manager herself said this is a columbian restaurant and it’s a columbian dish and gave me a hard time talking to me with her finger pointed to my face ppl were looking as if it’s my fault to come to that place I also will be taking the right procedure to make up for my offensive day that was ruined ?

Uncomfortable if you’re a black women or if you only speak English. Very standoffish.

The food is consistently excellent, and the service is exceptional. I want to draw management and marketing's attention to the menu and the posted pictures, as there seems to be a discrepancy across all locations, not just this one. For instance, the Choclo arepa is shown with shredded cheese in the advertising, but it is actually served with just a slice of cheese, which can be disappointing. Additionally, some dishes are supposed to come with sweet plantains, but they often do not include the amount that is advertised.
