Pho Pasteur Ii - Union City

The food is excellent, but the service is very rushed. They close at 9:00, but at 7:45, you're already urged to leave. I’ve visited three times and have seen people turned away before 8:00. It’s best to know what you want before you get the menu because once you're seated, the waiter rarely comes back. However, this seems to be typical for most Pho restaurants.

We went there on the weekend, and it was my first time visiting, while my friend has been there quite often. It wasn’t very crowded when we arrived. My friend had mentioned the fast service, but I couldn’t believe how quick it really was! We were seated and given water right away, and within five minutes, our food was served. My friend ordered Bun Bo Hue, and I ordered the Pho, which came highly recommended. The Pho was my favorite—it was tasty and delicious, and we all enjoyed our meals.

Above average pho, 6/5 Shrimp Cake. Stop reading my review and trying it yourself. Oh, and they have a Cash Only directive.

The spring rolls here are huge and exceptionally fresh. The peanut sauce is delicious as well. I would personally appreciate a few more peanuts, but that’s just my preference.

Some of the best noodles around. highly recommend this place!
