Pio-pio Pizzeria - Union City

The food here is delicious and budget-friendly. My family and I sometimes order the baked chicken family meals, and the rotisserie chicken is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it! The grilled chicken salad is also excellent. They offer delivery, and I suggest calling the restaurant directly for that—it’s more affordable than using Uber Eats or similar apps.

The food was spoiled and had a terrible smell. The manager was too busy to speak with us, even though they expected us to pay for the meal.

The order was delivered on time and was accurate; however, the chicken was old and incredibly dry, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Don't confuse this Pio Pio chicken with the Peruvian chicken you find in New York, as you will be sorely disappointed. It was one of the worst chickens I've ever had.

The food is outdated and I would advise caution—two members of my family ended up getting sick. Nothing seems fresh!

I ordered the pork shoulder, and it seemed like they just cut it into pieces and stir-fried it with an excessive amount of salt. The rice and beans appeared to be leftover from the previous day, making it one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. On top of that, I had to wait half an hour for my food. If you're looking to feel sick, this place is perfect for you—it might just make you throw up enough to clear your stomach. But be cautious with the salt! Overall, the food was absolutely terrible. I would recommend looking in a garbage can for a better meal before considering eating here. Trust me, you'll be better off elsewhere. Stay away!
