Port Hole Inn - Unionville

We rented a cabin nearby, and this restaurant was recommended as a great spot for pizza, and they were spot on. The breadsticks were also amazing. I really wish this place was closer to our hometown. The pizza was still tasty even the next day after reheating.

Our food took a little while to arrive, but that was understandable since they were short-staffed and the place was really busy! My sister ordered the catfish, while I enjoyed a chocolate martini and the sausage stromboli. We also shared some fried pickles, and everything was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be returning!

1st let me say that the food was very good. We had a very large group about 30 people and to speed things along well went to the cashier to place our order. Because of current health issues they have experienced staff issues like other companies. I have a few photos of our food

We took a leisurely road trip down from Indianapolis to visit Bloomington and the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. We took the route around Lake Lemon because it looked scenic and we weren?t disappointed ? saw two whitetail bucks, lots of squirrels, and a variety of birds. We?d eaten a big lunch in Bloomington, so we stopped in the Port Hole Inn for just a snack and a restroom break. Everyone of the staff we talked to was just as nice as could be. They really make their guests feel welcome. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. The layout and décor of the place is neat. They have a family area on one side and a bar area on the other. Apparently, they regularly have live bands in the evenings and the stage wall is decorated with old 45 records. The selection on the menu looked great, but since we?d just had lunch we stuck to a couple pieces of cheesecake, an order of mozzarella sticks, and a couple drinks to go. All was good. The biggest draw to us was the staff. They were all just so friendly that it made us want to come back. The next time we?re in the area we will probably make a point to stop in here for lunch or dinner.
