Lovely welcome which set the standard for my two night stay. My room was comfortable and quiet. The food is great including breakfasts and the ubiquitous Charlie ensures that no guest does not feel pampered. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely, the service exemplary and if I visit Yorkshire again I shall stay here. First class. Rooms: 5

Spent a lovely week at The Duke of Wellington. Beautiful location in the North Yorks National Park. Great beer, great food and great hospitality from staff and locals alike.
