Emilio's Italian Restaurant

I love this restaurantI've never been disappointedThe Stuffed mushrooms, and the pear salad was deliciousVeal picatta was delicious.

This is an Italian restaurant that doesn't make its own pasta from scratchThat's bad.

Emilio's is a great restaurant at a very fair value. We absolutely have to return as we have other dishes to try. I had the cannelloni which I thoroughly enjoyed. The mushroom appetizer was absolutely fantastic. My wife had a salmon noodle dish which she really liked. Stanton has a very quant downtown area and this restaurant has inspired us to return for an overnight stay for yet another great dinner. My only suggestion to management is consideration for a seasoned oil offered with bread. This would be a welcomed enhancement to the current olive oil offering. Thank you Emilio's for a great dinner!!

Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Location: 5/5 Emilio's offers very good if not great Italian fare right in the middle of the diverse and interesting shopping/theater district of downtown Staunton. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two before or after shopping or a play. But perhaps a bit steep for what you get if you're feeding a large family. They diverge on their menu in playful ways, which was nice to see. For example the Fradiavolo, normally a shrimp dish, here features calamari. It's a winner of a dish. Perfectly seasoned.

The restaurant is right at the heart of downtown Staunton, the atmosphere and arts on the wall reminds me of the classic Italian movies, the staffs are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu wine. Wait until you try their salad with basil dressing fresh from the farm to table, handmade pasta that's heavenly tiramisu for dessert. This is the best dinner my Italian American husband and I had for a very long time and we are from NY and PA. We will stop at Staunton to dine in Emilio's in a heartbeat, what a great way to celebrate the last night of our road trip with authentic Italian cuisine!
