I don't mind waiting for a table, but I'm worried about being ignored, and then having underestimated the waiting time. once sitting, our salate and appetizer (a marginal appetizing sauteed mushroom dish quickly arrived. our escaped, however, lasted 45 minutes from the ordered time. the waiting staff was nice, but badly trained. the server didn't know the weeping list. the new type that pours water touched the pitcher to the rim of each glass. the restaurant was too busy for the staff on the hand. the feeling of urgency of our server (limiting on panic was obvious so that we also feel uncomfortable and at the rande. overall was eating in order (my date was good, my date was not – avoid the auberginen parmesan! but the administration was terrible. If I lived in fairbanks, I could try. as it is, if I ever eat here in another restaurant, it will not be gambardella.
Stopped in here on a cold snowy evening during the holidays. Resturant had few customers and while an older building appeared clean. Restrooms were neat and clean Food was nothing special but was adequate as we were hungry Would return
I can't believe this place doesn't have better reviews than it does. Probably a bunch of haters whiners ! We ate here last night and it was incredible. The service was great ! The vibe was relaxing and classy. We started with the garlic bread appetizer ! Salads and also the meatballs! Let me tell ya what !! The meatballs were some of the best I've had in the country ! And took over 100 flights last year to all over the world. My main course was asiago crusted cod and risotto !! Phenomenal ! I tried my friends cheese ravioli in the vodka cream sauce and it was really good also. When I come back to Fairbanks this will be the main restaurant that I will make sure and go to. 5 STARS!! go here live a little
This is by far the worst Italian restaurant in town. We sat down and ordered right away. The restaurant was fairly empty even for a Tuesday evening. It took them over an hour to bring our food and none of our food was edible. The mother of all lasagna looked like a third grader 's art project. Fettuccine Alfredo noodles were soggy and mushy. Needless to say I will not return and warn all of my coworkers and friends about this horrendous establishment.
Fresh food. Everything I have tried there tastes delicious! Definitely one of my favorite places in Fairbanks. P.S. The pasta is delicious. I Also would recommend to try their House Wine.
