We’ve been coming here for years. But tonight was bad poor service and food. It was our 40 year anniversary the service poor seated by the bar and door. We were served by bartender who was in a hurry luckily we knew what we wanted. Never checked on us during meal to busy doing a large party outside which seemed to take prevalent over other diners. Then to top it off the party outside brought their dogs through the restaurant while we were eating. I’m a dog lover but my dogs don’t need to be coming into restaurant while people are eating. Plus the food now is all freezer and canned food I can eat that at home plus cheaper

This is a definite go to place! Food was excellent! I had their sweet potatoes casserole which was THE BEST sweet potatoe dish I have ever eaten!! Also, delicious mac'n and cheese as the other side dish. Entree was backed chicken covered with mushrooms and cheese! Yum ! Our waitress was so very attentive and came back multiple times to check on us and top off our drinks. So sorry I did not get the young lady's name because she was exceptional!! If you are in the Bedford, VA area you definitely need to check this place out!!
