Feedback gevenWe had calf and lamb. very tasty. the gratinated kartoffels were incredible. the service was punctual and friendly. I would only return to unna because of the grilled lamb. also the patron is refreshing.
It is located in a well maintained old building and the atmosphere in the inner is definitely festive (many talks). our waitress was obviously disgusted that we did not speak German. perhaps she rarely served our table from this reason. the eating was good and the evening stroll through unna made it a pleasant experience.
Tried a grilled fish dish that was well prepared and beautifully presented. but the service was quite slow - took about 20 minutes to pick up the first beverage order - the restaurant was quite empty at this time. they had a separate English menu, but it was outdated, and some of the dishes I would have chosen were no longer available. this restaurant was recommended by the hotel where I stayed in unna, but the experience was not fair? the expected high standard.
I was once in winter in the master house (drinking), ordered pizza and everything was satisfactory. This time we picked up a place outside the beer garden in the summer. it wasn't so many customers there, but it took forever until they came to our table that made drinks, then eat it. they were not very friendly either. the pizza was still good, but my friend ordered lamm and she got such a small portion for such an expensive dish! So, I would say it is in order, but it is not better than many other cheaper restaurants in unna!
This restaurant was highly recommended by family members who live close to, so I was excited to try it. it was a very warm evening, so we ate outside in the beer garden. the environment was beautiful and the large sunshades offered something change from the sun. the beer garden is next to a park so our little children liked to play while we waited to be served and wait, we did. it took a whole past until a waiter came to our table, although we arrived early before it became full. we all ordered drinks and waited and waited and waited for them to arrive. followed another long waiting period before our food orders were received. I ordered pizza with cheese, spinach, small garnels and garlic. When eating finally arrived, I found the pizza totally inconspicuous. I will never understand why so many pizza restaurants think that a high-quality cake is prepared with a soft, soft crust. kruste makes a pizza, and the accumulating of ingredients on the tough, thick crust destroys them. Moreover, the garnels had these obvious mildes directly from the dose/glass. They could have been well omitted as they were tasteless. overall the pizza was on a bad day like in a pizza factory of a chain. the service during eating was still not present. a person in our group asked about salt (why was it not at first on the table) and it came after she had finished eating her. the only time that we played as a table was when the beer garden was busy at the end of our time. at this point several server came by to ask if we needed something and to bring the salt to another table. this attack was made for us, although two members of our group still had practically full glasses wein. In summary, I was unimpressed here both from eating and from the service. the only really positive was the external system. I would not recommend this hotel to others.
