Gasthaus zur Post - Unterhaching

Came here pretty late to grab a bite to eat and their kitchen was closed so they offered us what two dish was still available. The portion was nice and big...

Early to dinner without reservation. the staff has worked and a table drawn together. Eat and drinks are good and economical and bark tars very good. must always be busy, but a little french.

Walked here from the nearby Holiday Inn, group of friends on sunday night. The hostess was very welcoming and provided English menus (she also spoke excellent english) We ordered a variety of dishes and were all very pleased with the quality of the food....We had pancakes to share for dessert which were delicious. Overall great food, good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend if you would like to try some authentic Bavarian food.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn just a short walk through a field from the Gasthaus Zur Post. My family of was seated promptly and we had great service. The waitress was friendly, the food was tasty, and the servings big enough to...fill up my teenage boys. The apple strudel was the best I have ever had! When we asked the waitress why bier steins have lids, she didn't know for sure, so she asked an older gentleman I assume was a local. We had a short exchange (we speak little german) and he ended up buying me a bier! You can't beat that for a good experience. I only wish I could have bought him one back before he left!

Enjoy the carving, white sausage and beer. friendly staff. was very busy when we visited, but the service was still excellent. would definitely be eating and drinking again.
