This hotel restaurant has been in the family for two generations. Kathryn always cooks a great meal with detail to impress your palate.. Excellent wine selection. Reservations suggested during the winter weekends
We as a family have eaten at the Rösslipost many times and been there for New Years Evening and other celebrations. The food was very good and seasonal. Cooked with a special flair. Always Delicious.
The head chief at that Rosslipost is great she, is a very well trained and will always help with some food dislike. I have eaten here for a number of years and will continue to eat here! the menu can be a little small, so, the best is to always ask in advance, and if there is nothing you like you can normal order something else, as long as good notice is given!
We stayed at the hotel and enjoyed dinner two nights in a row here. Katherin is an excellent chef! We opted both times for the pre-fixe menus for a 5-course dinner. From appetizer to dessert, each course was exquisitely prepared and presented. Most of the wait staff speak English fairly well and try very hard to explain the dishes (even though I speak a smattering of German, it took me a bit to realize that when they said feel it meant veal ...both evenings the main course was veal cutlet otherwise known as schnitzel). We thoroughly enjoyed each dish. Loved their house aperitif which is proseco with a pink grapefruit liqueur...yummy! They also have a nice wine selection and a wide variety of spirits. The service provided by Katerina, Irina, Karin and Istwan was just excellent! Elsie, the mother hen of this whole operation, was always checking to make sure everyone was totally satisfied!
