Arisong Cafe - Upper Hutt

The decor is lovely, featuring a beautiful black and pink boudoir theme. We all enjoyed the soup of the day, which was a delightful tomato and basil, accompanied by garlic bread. The seafood chowder was decent, and while the roast of the day was acceptable with excellent gravy, the beef was a bit dry. The open steak sandwich and the omelette were well-received, but unfortunately, the green curry was quite bland and didn't taste like curry at all. However, considering the fantastic prices and the enjoyable decor, we were relatively impressed overall!

On our way back from Kaitoke, we needed a coffee fix. After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stop here, and we were not let down. The coffee was excellent, and the traditional vanilla milkshake was delicious as well, served with a friendly smile. Both are shown in the picture (though unfortunately, not the smile).

Great service!! A singing Barista. Friendly. Food looks appealing and tastes great. I can see they develop great relationships with their customers. Everytime I go past this place is always humming…. Clean. I like the decor. I will be coming again. Reasonable prices and a great menu.

Good coffee, amazing people and nice atmosphere We were here on our quest to find a longest drink cup and even though they didn't have it they went out of their way to help us!

Now, let’s talk about the coffee—it's absolutely incredible! Perfectly presented and simply delicious, it's hands down the best I've had in Wellington. As for the food, my first visit about two weeks ago was memorable; I ordered the Big Blume breakfast, which was not only beautifully arranged but also incredibly tasty and very satisfying. At that moment, I knew I had found my new favorite spot in Wellington. I’m back here again, savoring the Eggs Benedict, which arrived promptly and looked stunning on the plate. I genuinely cannot find a single negative thing to say about this café. If you appreciate good food at reasonable prices, clean facilities, outstanding customer service, and a fun, friendly atmosphere, then you absolutely need to visit Café Blume in Upper Hutt. You won't regret it!
