Anchors Wharf Restaurant - URUNGA

Have been visiting Urunga every year for the past 12 years and my in laws always want to go to Anchors for dinner the night before we leave.

We dropped in after a drive and without a reservation.

We had the best service, best wine which complimented the seafood (suggested by tbe owner) and the best seafood platter we have ever had.....and we have had our share of seafood platters. We will be back again in the future.

I can't recommend this place enough. Today we had lunch and I had jewfish and my wife had sword fish and they both were amazing. It blew our minds.

The seafood chowder is simply the best on the coast may have to wait for the winter menu for it to return. Plenty of other choices on the menu with friendly staff to look after you Thanks Denise and Steve for your hospitality
