Feedback gevenSurprisingly excellent Mexican food in what appears to be a non-descript, former fast food joint. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the sizzling fajitas plate. The meat was extremely tender, full of great flavor adorned with a generous heap of grilled onions and peppers. Like I said, surprisingly excellent! I enjoyed the Pipian pork: shredded pork in a mildly spicy, but rich orangish tinged pepper/seed sauce. I've never had a pipian sauce before, it's similar to a molé, but not as sweet. The food is similar to taco bell but pricier. Honestly it was disappointing. The salsas we're not home made, it taste like can salsas to me unfortunately
We got the Molcajete for two, which had steak, chicken, shrimp, nopales, cheese, jalapeños, and a salsa in the middle. The order also came with Spanish rice and refried beans. The food we had here is on par with (or even better than) the Mexican food I’ve had in California. Everything had great flavor, a lot of food even for two. Friendly and helpful staff, who graciously welcomed and hosted us at 9PM on a Monday night. Would definitely come again!
If I was allowed to rate less, I will have. They put my husband and I in the corner. And forget about me. We had to o go get them to order. They forget about the Pepsi we order. We had to go beg them for it. When they brought our fajitas the waiter almost burn our baby. And the answer about us saying something because he literally want over her head and drop it at retching distance from her. He say “she is fine. It is fine”. Some different things and twists on old favorites on the menu than I had seen before. The food was really good. Had chicken pipian, which was new to me. The chili rellano had Pineapple and raisins in it. Sounded odd, but was very good. Also pleased with the Taco salad and mole burrito.
