Strand-Restaurant Sehliebe - Utersum

There are quite a few mixed and negative reviews for this place which we luckily did not read before trying ourselves. The vista is fantastic on the wide beach, and with the sunset that you don't want to miss. It's only obstructed by some semi transparent glass screens, depending on where you are sitting. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is good, my steak was excellent. Prices and portions we found adequate. Would always come again!

A surf club style building over looking the North Sea . Casual and friendly atmosphere . Offering fusion dinning . Service was fine and friendly . Food was tasty , perhaps a little small in size . Quality was good but a little expensive for what you got . Paying for the location.

Sehliebe is located on the beach of Utersum. The restaurant is rather new and the decor shows that they tried to raise the level of the restaurant above a normal beach eatery, to make it a fashionable, in place. The menu features some more traditional food, but also Asian fusion.Whereas the concept is promising, the execution fails. Food is average at best, and the atmosphere strange, with some well dressed diners mixed with people in beach clothing and kids running around. For what it is, prices are too expensive and the value poor. On a positive note, service is quick and friendly.When you are at the beach, want something better to eat than just fast food and don't mind paying more than you should, Sehliebe is an option. If you are looking for a nice dinner spot with good food, stay away.
