Burger King - Uttlesford

I was underwhelmed by my experience at this restaurant. The chips were decent, but the new chicken with bacon dish was disappointing. The portion was small and it looked like it had been mishandled. The drinks dispenser was also a letdown, with water that tasted like 99% fizz and hardly any flavor. Even the Dr. Pepper was lacking in taste. Overall, I left feeling like I needed a doctor after that meal.

I ordered the plant-based double bacon burger for the first time and received a single patty instead. Despite being in a rush, I accepted it. The veggie burger was expensive. A week later, I ordered it again and received another single patty. I went back and finally received a double burger, but it was missing the vegan bacon. I didn't feel like going back again. The burger looked nothing like the photo and did not have lettuce or tomatoes. It was simply a double plant-based burger with no bacon. I'm not even sure if they included vegan cheese or mayo. The restaurant was not even busy, so there is no excuse for the poor service. I will not be returning to that restaurant again.

A little bit overcrowded and very busy, like everything at the airport. The concept is the same as anywhere else you pay before receiving the order, then wait for your number. Similarly, to other fast food places, the dining space could be a bit cleaner.

Firstly I would not call this a fast food outlet considering its situated in an airport and people are on tight schedules! The service was very poor, by the time I received my hot drinks my food was cold and I had to ask for these to be replaced, more time wasted. My wife’s tea had a burst tea bag in it and she took it back and it was replaced but only after she had to ask an assistant to retrieve it from under the hot water machine as she went to serve someone else. Found staff not very competent. Other issue is cleanliness this is an issue that needs to be addressed, dirty tables and very dusty surfaces around the tables. This is not an inexpensive meal but service did not match expectations. Normally we enjoy a hot and tasty Burger King but will definitely not be frequenting this branch ever again.

Stopped here for a snack before departure, ordered vegan nuggets. They served us cheese/chilli balls instead. Once I bit into one and realised, I swiftly returned them and assumed it was just an honest mistake, so didn't make a big deal, only then to be handed chicken nuggets (not vegan). I returned them again, and eventually I got the vegan nuggets. Not a single apology from the staff. Hesitantly but hungry, we stopped here again upon our return to the airport a few days later and ordered vegan nuggets again. When my order was ready, I asked them to check these were vegan nuggets, to which they said yes. In this case I was in a hurry and didn't think to check before I left. Once I finally got round to eating them, I found that they were chicken nuggets, not vegan, again. Absolutely horrific service, do not recommend at all and will not be returning.
