I am often there for a coffee or cappuccino, sometimes with a beautiful bright bake. the workers at the desk are very helpful and server are friendly and nice. No one tries to rip me out. I avoid the market Saturday because I can go every other day of the week, but when I pass, it is extremely busy. my drinks are excellent and always hot. the tee room is easy to reach and has both inside and outside seats, also on a gray day in november.
Not to use. unprofessional employees do not know about their menu. we had to tell them we waited for our drinks several times.
We came here for coffee and pastry before going to the market . We waited over an hour before the order was completed. The waitress was unbelievably rude. It was almost verging on the comical. My advice would be with so many lovely cafes in...and around the square you can do so much better than this.
Sweet little tea and breakfast/lunch shop in Uzes, with great bread/pastries...good tea selection as well as coffee. Continental or different types of full breakfasts: British style which we had with eggs and bacon, French style, German style, etc. Unfortunately there were only 2 staff members...serving a nice sized dining room and also take out, so everything was very slow. Also our waitress got confused by our order even though a few of us speak fluent French so when one person ordered 'English Breakfast ' tea they actually got an 'English Breakfast '. Also if you want milk with your tea make sure you ask for cold milk or you 'll get hot steamed milk. Still, overall, we would go back and did like it...
There is just so much coffee you can consume in the market place in Uzes in temperatures of 35C plus in late August. So we decided to go indoors into a very Parisienne Salon du The. The Salon is an extension of an excellent artisan...bakery, and if you enter via the main door on the Blvd Gambetta you can watch the bakers toiling in the heat through a small barred window. The coffee, tea and cakes were just delightful, with excellent service given how busy it was. Unlike the UK where people sit for hours with a coffee and free wifi the turnover of the tables is good so even at a busy period it would not take long to be sitting at a table. Just a little sanctuary of bakery heaven, especially on a hot day.
