Montgomery's Grill Saloon - Vail

We've never previously had a bad experience here, but we went the other day for lunch, and while it was moderately busy, it wasn't packed. The waitress was nice enough, though a little strange, and got way too close when talking, even touched me a few times on the back. Made me a bit uncomfortable as I'm a vet and really like my personal space. The food took 30 mins (even the soup and a cold sandwich), and when it came, the soup was great, but the sandwich bread was burnt almost black. Then we witnessed the same waitress physically grab a napkin and WIPE A GUYS FACE IN FRONT OF HIS WIFE!!! So beyond inappropriate, I couldn't believe it. I'll still go back as it was the first bad/bizarre experience we've had there, but the waitress needs some lessons on keeping her distance and not touching people. So unprofessional. I've never seen her there before, so she must be new, but if she's like that with all the customers, she won't last long.

Food was good. Service was very slow, though. But I did notice the help wanted sign and all the tables were full. Will try again and hope it was a fluke. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
