We had everything we needed in the room, the view from the porch was amazing, and the front desk staff gave us all the information we needed to make our stay a great one. The location of this resort is the main reason why we booked here. We were minutes from the village, gondola, restaurant, and stores! There's also a bus service from the town that is free and takes you to around to the next towns over. There is so much to do here and the people were friendly everywhere we went! I would highly recommend booking your stay here :
Overall this is a very nice property and we had a beautiful room with a great view and a wonderful trip to Vail. The room was beautiful and the fireplace was cozy. The hot tub was a wonderful amenity although it had to be reserved for 15 minute increments due to the covid pandemic. The fire pits, s'mores, and free welcome beers are a nice touch. The ski valet service was a positive experience. The restaurant had great breakfast and there's a Starbuck's. The location is perfect- you are right in Lionshead Village with dining and shops. You can easily walk into Vail Village which we did daily, the apres-ski scene is a little more lively and exciting there. Most bars have outside seating with space heaters. The spa is nice and recommend a massage. For skiing downloading the Vail app is helpful for knowing which slopes are where and which gondolas you need to use. The front desk acts as a wall and the customer service is pretty poor considering the steep prices $1000+ per night while we were there). They find a way to say no whether it's accurate or not and seemingly want to just get rid of you as quickly as possible. Uber is very unreliable in Vail. There typically aren't any cars available. Recommend setting up a private ride from Vail airport.
Luxury experience, five stars all around! All the staff was friendly but Yousef at the front desk was particularly helpful! He went out of his way to help us figure out activities for our stay. The hotel lets you check out snow shoes and sleds, board games and couple other things... we took advantage of it and loved our experience here. We felt very safe during covid, mask are required and the entire place feels clean and fresh. Hotel also has activity kits for painting and modeling clay... we had family competition after dinner each night. Kept us busy and warm after a full day of snow activities. Hotel offers shuttle service, so we didn't have to drive our car around town, which is a good thing, as icy snowy conditions make us nervous. We come from Texas... no snow in our neck of the woods.
Lovely property up in the mountains in vail. The rooms were clean and well equipped and the service was wonderful. The downside is the cost. Of everything. The rooms are not terrible priced for the area but the fees don't stop....venue fees, crazy high parking expense for your vehicle, the bar (hot damn most expensive drinks! If I could change anything I'd move it a little closer to the action in the village and lower some of the random fees. Other than that it was a lovely stay.
Great location in Lionshead. Easy walk to the gondola. The rooms are good and the staff is friendly. Their private shuttle service is great to have as well as their on site ski rentals shop. Nice amenities overall.
