Vendettas - Vail

That was a really funny experience; I am surprised that the rating is not higher. We went to dinner (two people, Tuesday at 6-7). We sat down, and while our waitress (ester) had a lot of tables to manage, she did an incredible task to visit us with fast and friendly service (I hope she gets credit for it). As far as food goes, we ordered the garlic bread, tomato soup and a pfefferoni-garlic pizza. All three dishes were amazing. Vail is a good 30-45-minute drive for us, but we would seriously consider doing the drive for this food again. One last comment: The restaurant is divided into a bar on the upper level and a traditional restaurant on the ground floor. While the menu below does not show the pizza, they will bring you the pizza menu if you ask. (I would strongly encourage management to bring at least one pizza menu per table by default, otherwise you will lack on sale).

We were in Colorado for a week and ate at Vendettas 3 times, so we enjoyed it! For a quiet sit down experience head down where you can enjoy a full Italian menu or order a pizza from the top bar. The dining area upstairs is a bit full and loud, but food and service were still excellent. We really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, tomato soup and garlic bread.

I think I finally found the best bargain in Vail. Ironically, this place is lower than a lot of super “elitistic” places you can imagine are here. You can actually go here and get a meal for a person for under $25 – it is a ton of food, and it is actually very, very good. I've been working in restaurants for over 15 years. I am Italian and I am very critical for Italian cuisine. The Tiramisu they serve me at Vendettas was not only good, it was SPECTACULAR. Portions are somewhat smaller than in your typical Italian restaurant in any big city, but for Vail – FANTASTIC.

Sat at the bar and had excellent service and food! The Lemon Drop was amazing and the Burrata and Calamari were just enough for a shared “light” meal. Recommend!!

Really good Italian food place. Waiting time was a little bit more than normal, I noticed is a busy place, so that’s something normal, but worth the time you wait once you try those delicious pastas. The place is nice and the service good to. I recommended 100
