Bar Restaurant la Promenade

Perfect evening. We had dinner with a beautiful sunset on the lake. The food is very tasty and the staff pleasant and bilingual!

Visited on our last day in Geneva, came across my accident. It looks like somewhere there is no more than a burger bar but it was much better than that. The asparagus salad starter with quail eggs and cured ham was exceptional and worth Following this my pink beef encrusted in brioche was tender and petfectly cooked. My wife a burger which again was enjoyed. Service was swift and polite with all waitresses speaking excellent English. The sun was shining and there appeared to be many business lunches taking place. My only word of caution would be wine prices which were not cheap. Also worth a special mention is the happy smiley ice man from which we purchased a ice cream to take away (not on bill). He is probably the happiest man I have seen in Geneva and an asset to the business! Overall wonderful setting by The lake, lovely food and good service. No hesitation in recommending.
