This place is right next to the mountain below the bladder. Food is generous, simple and tasty. Had a song Bol for € 12,50, that was so much more beautiful than a day before on the mountain for half price. Large toilets... without going down BTW
This restaurant is located at the end of the red bus line, the steps down to the snow. The service was very good and the staff helpful with our limited French. We were there for a late lunch, so it wasn't too busy because it's... very popular with skiers. The food was very good, so we would recommend the small place.
Quite a nice and picturesque place at the bottom of the slopes. The selection of food is great indeed: on top of the daily, you'll have pasta, crozets, cheese, ham, a large salad etc...anything to feed an hungry stomach after a few hours on the...slopes of the beautiful Val d'Isere. Good desserts too with a choice of lemong meringue pie, strawberries or blueberries tarts. Quite good too. This can be fast and it stays cheap around 20€ each. Worth the try!
Thought this place was just a café but the service, staff food and drinks are all top class and really value prices and a bigger range of food than I thought.. Very friendly staff and generally plenty of room inside or out, including deckchairs looking...at mountains all around, The day we were there the owner was showing guests the Chamois on the mountain through binoculars. No charge for toilets. Best place up or down the mountain in Le Fornet.
