The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect with a mixture of family... Tables, friends, couples... The price was very good for quality.
Bad service and terrible food... It's my third time here (was invited) and finally I decided to write sth... My last time...
Visited the stables and had yogurt again during the day for dinner with friends. Very winter menu with raclette and cheese fondue .. typical and cozy
I thought this restaurant would be a nice place to take children and so booked it. Firstly had to book my phone but they had a table free even in busy 1/2 term week. We got there and were told we would need to give...up our table at 9.30pm as they were busy and told the kitchen was very busy so best to only order once. View of barn with cows was literally a view of several cows derrières. A bit disappointing but at least our table was near by which the children liked. Menu was full of ‘only for two’. The children’s and adult raclette was very disappointing. Children meal was chopped up potatoes covered in melted cheese with a slice of ham on top. No raclette device. Adult raclette was strange device which melted cheese on to a plate that needed to be scooped up and device was attached by flex across floor to the socket which was a significant trip hazard. We soon realized that we had to fend for ourselves getting our own flask of tap water as waitress didn’t bring this when requested and getting menus bs k to order dessert for the children to make up for the disappointing main courses. Desserts were very formal. Now I know why La Ferme des Trois Capitainnes in Tignes was fully booked similar concept of food and farmyard and rave reviews compared to this place. Waitress did her best but clearly not enough staff.
This is a very up to date concept, since you eat in the same building as where the cowshed and the cheese plant are located. You can see them through the window when eating. Of course they serve cheese-based dishes like raclette or fondue, but...also meat, including pork as well. When we were there we found the place was quiet, still missing ambiance. Nevertheless the experience and the food were ok. It would even be better if we could visit the cowshed and cheese lab.
