We ordered mixed starters: Battuta di Fassona with fresh local Porcini mushrooms, Pumpkin Flan with soft goat cheese. Then we ordered homemade broccoli Gnocchi with mushrooms and amazing Tagliatelle pasta with Deer ragu. But we didn't want to stop so we ordered also traditional Tagliata meet. Last but not the least we got hazelnuts' Tiramisù and Panna cotta with grapes jam. All of these was just unbelievably good. We had a wonderful evening, I will finally recommend this restaurant.
We arrived and were greeted by a nice man who spoke excellent English. Check in was simple and quick and we were shown to our room. The room was nice and clean. We then chose to eat in the restaurant, the ragout was amazing! The waitresses were very helpful translating the deserts/ drinks menus. Only down fall was the noise as the restaurant cleared out.
Good local food and wine. Music way too loud for a romantic evening or a good meal. Difficult to talk. Not sure how an agriturismo matches with loud live music (even if good). Probably trying to get young people at the same time as serving local food?
While my wife and I will spend Christmas holidays abroad, we decided to offer a sort of Christmas lunch to the mother/suocera, to celebrate together before leaving. sin that here, in forge, despite less than two weeks at the holidays, there is no rag of abobbus, no decoration, nothing that promises you in the Christmas atmosphere. Except for that, we had fun. the dishes served are excellent, genuine and well cooked. remarkable sweets, also from the point of view of the plantation. who claims is too expensive does not believe that the quality linked to the products strictly of the territory gives the local an exclusive aura, which makes it well distinguished from a dozen taverns.
We stayed on the evening of August (for my birthday). comfortable and not difficult to find, well marked. great food and good service, as always. taken green, gazpacho, duck tagliatelle, cesarina, mora and Pescamisù (we were in two). with welcome prosecco glass and a bottle of foggy cantalupo. As a surprise, they put candles with years on dessert. I also speak of the kindness of the owner who always comes to exchange two words with the guests. All right, we're close, but we'll definitely come back. ps: the greenpass was not required outside.
