Secondly, the cleaner who took care of my room left his/her sponge on the desk and she/he left it there for the rest of my stay. Third, one day someone decided to open my room's window and it was left like this until I came back and found it open. Last, the breakfast was always cold even if it was pancakes. I wouldn't choose that hotel again.
So many things, but first and foremost: an almost complete lack of cleanliness. The bathroom smells so deeply and profusely of urine that my family and I have avoided walking on the floor or touching anything in there. Had this not been the only place available, we would have moved already. My mother says that this is the dirtiest hotel room she has ever been in. We have been using the toilet squatty-potty style because we are so concerned about whether it is clean. When you’re using the place you are staying as if it is a filthy public restroom, you know it’s bad. The walls in the room are stained and the carpet is horribly disgusting. The place itself is about a 45 minute drive to Paris by taxi and there are virtually no restaurants around that you can walk to. The shower sprays water all over the floor every time you turn it on. If only that helped with the smell.
Right on entry to this hotel you can tell that cleanliness is definitely not their first priority and the room definitely confirms that. Towels and bed sheets are dirty and stained. Right on entry to my room it smells like wet mold. Quite disgusting actually... All the same goes for the restaurant. I had their cheeseburger and I had 2 bites and left it on the table. Usually staff would pay attention to the fact that the food is not being eaten buy there was no word from staff. In a nutshell, this is a 2 star hotel that is here for the quickest costumer turnover. This was the first and last time I will be staying here. SPEND MORE AND GO SOMWHERE ELSE ...
The rooms and breakfast was pretty good. However, the service was poor. The staff seemed to go the extra mile to NOT provide us with a shuttle bus. When we asked to call us a cab they called a private driver that was twice the price of cab. So if you don’t ask for anything it is fine. Wouldn’t stay there again because felt I was taken advantage off.
Air France flight was delayed so we had to quickly find a place to stay the night. Rooms were nice, bed gets 5 stars for comfort. Buffet breakfast was great: healthy, good variety, tasty, and fresh. I would score the breakfast at 5 stars. Dinner menu needs to match the breakfast: limited choices are available especially for anyone on a special diet, counting calories, etc. I would score the dinner menu at a 3, or 3.5. You can tell the restaurant definitely has the potential to improve, easily… Shuttle service: zero stars. Shuttle bus did not open its doors or check around for people waiting, and just left. Shuttle service fee is 5 euro, vs a taxi at 25 euro. Hotel should improve its shuttle service to help travellers…. Delayed flights are stressful all around and better service here would be welcome and much appreciated by any traveller. Customer service (lobby) was mixed: some staff did not know what they were doing but thankfully others were there who were more skilled at providing good customer service and intervened. Recommend to bring all staff up to a good level. I would probably stay here again for a short while, keeping in mind the buffet breakfast was nice and the bed was very comfy. Lights in the washroom were flickering and took a while to get going but no big deal. Bathroom shower could use an upgrade (to better or more easily accommodate taller people). I thought the cost was too high, all things considered.
