Aligatou Japanese Steakhouse - Valdosta

Cant go wrong with this place. Sushi cooked by a real Japanese chef and owned by them as well. They are so nice. The food is great! The floor is sticky but as I found out it is due to some mishaps with cleaning supplies (they can make things sticky) and the owners before

The service was the best we've had in Valdosta in years and years. Kind, attentive, always with a smile, cleared everything without disturbing our date. The Hiabchi was cooked exactly as my husband ordered and the portion size was insane (big). My sushi was fresh, the perfect temperature and larger than most sushi places will make for you. It was all delicious and thoughtfully laid out. The only downside of this restaurant is that it hasn't had a good deep cleaning in a bit. But eating surfaces have been cleaned, it's more the corners, carpet and bathroom. With a deep cleaning and touch ups on the exterior it could easily be 5 stars.
