Gg's Southern Kitchen - Valdosta

Without a doubt, the best roasted chicken and sautéed greens I've ever tasted! My daughters absolutely loved their sandwiches, and my partner enjoyed the stuffed buns! The staff and owners (we think) were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you for making our first dinner during the holiday so great!

We just navigated through Google to choose a restaurant and narrowed it down to GG’s and a fish restaurant. I’m so glad we picked GG! We ordered fried chicken with mac and cheese, gravy, and spicy steak with greens and kohlrabi. Everything was absolutely amazing! The food had the perfect flavor. We love discovering small family-run restaurants, and the owners were actually working there and even came over to chat with us. If you’re in the city, be sure to stop by and give this place a try!

The food truly tastes like homemade cooking! I absolutely loved the green beans and mac and cheese. My 3-year-old son really enjoyed the cornbread, and my wife mentioned that the peach cobbler is definitely something worth returning for. Just a heads-up: the menu is quite limited, so I’ve included a photo to help you see what's available before you go.

We were looking for a non-chain restaurant on our trip at midday and found this great gem. the facility was very clean, the staff was wonderful and the menu was simple and delicious describing. we received our food in a short time after ordering and it looked as delicious as it sounded. at the end there was no leichenhahn on both plates. they were perfectly proportional and quite tasty. my man is not a cornbread fan, but he ate every bit. great place, great option. Five stars!

The first time I went to GG's restaurant I didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a smiling face and welcomed to GG's. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was and the wonderful smells that filled the place. The staff was friendly and eager to answer my many questions. I ordered the fried chicken, yams, green beans, mac n cheese and crackling beard. It was by far the best food that I've had in the 17 years since my grandma had passed. It definitely took me back to those days when she was cooking in the kitchen. I enjoyed the food so much that I returned to GG's the following day with my entire family. I definitely plan on going there again and again and again.
