La Jalisco Supermercado - Valdosta

We tried guava, passion fruit, and horchata drinks, but they were just okay; the fruit drinks were overly sweet, and the horchata lacked flavor. What really soured the experience was the location and the lack of security. We parked in what seemed like a safe area but returned from our meal to find our car had been hit and damaged by another vehicle that fled the scene. Our brand new car now has a damaged bumper and the sensors are broken because of it. We asked around if anyone had witnessed the incident, but no one was helpful. While I acknowledge that the incident was unrelated to the restaurant itself, the lack of safety in the area makes me hesitant to recommend this place.

This restaurant is located inside a Mexican supermarket, and they've made some renovations, enhancing their outdoor seating area. The space is cozy and intimate, accommodating a decent number of guests. The staff is incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly. The food is excellent, and I would definitely classify it as authentic Mexican cuisine. The prices are very reasonable, and they offer a special every day. One of my favorite days is Thursday, when the tacos are just $1.50.

Whenever I travel, I like to stop by Mexican and Asian markets to find unique items that I can't get at the ones near my home. While this particular market didn't have anything I hadn’t seen before, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. They also have a section serving hot food, though I didn’t try anything since I had just eaten at a Mexican restaurant. I can easily assume that I would have found better prices eating here compared to where I had dinner, and there's a good chance the food would have tasted better too. As I mentioned, my review is based solely on the market portion, and overall, I would give it four stars.

Service is always good. Food is good they put my beans in a mini taco salad shell. Too cute. Love it I wish I took a photo before I started to eat. But I think you get the point.

It's more of a grocery store but they also have a restraunte as well,and the food is really good and priced well.it was fairly prices. Good flavor of too. You need to try this place...
