Masato Japanese - Valdosta

There should be a more thorough health inspection at this place. My friend and I recently just ate here and although the food was good and the customer service was decent, we ended up falling very ill. Our symptoms aligned with food poisoning but it is possible we contracted some kind of stomach bug from the food here. I don't like to leave negative reviews however I feel like this should be brought to everyone's attention.

Order sushi early so maybe it would be done early, no such luck. Order’s coming in but the employees are just sitting around on their phone’s saying it will take 20 more minutes because they couldn’t get of tic toc long enough to do their job. Worse service ever will never be back to these lazy people that just sit there and lie to their customers. Hope they all get fired.

Our waitress Theresa was amazing and the hardest working waiter/waitress there! She did absolutely amazing and made our experience perfect! Could not ask for better service or tasting food! Very happy with this place we definitely will be back.

We went for sushi and they said they don't serve sushi until the evening. We left. I cpan't speak to how good the food is but I was disappointed the website didn't note that important fact.

Food was great and service was very good will definitely be back soon.
