Smok'n Pig B-b-q - Valdosta

I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and it exceeded my expectations! I wish I could give it 5.5 or even 6 stars. :D The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was prompt, and the vibrant indoor dining environment added to the experience. I particularly enjoyed the pecan-smoked pulled chicken, and all the sides were excellent. I absolutely loved the cornbread! While we didn't indulge during this visit, I definitely plan to save room for the dessert buffet next time. An added bonus is that the parking lot connects to a service station offering some of the lowest gas prices I've seen on the interstate.

This is a fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. However, I would recommend avoiding the chicken tenders, as they are quite small. On the positive side, the customer service is excellent. The female manager was especially helpful, though I didn’t catch her name. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Valdosta, GA!

I noticed the billboards and thought I should try this place out—who doesn't love BBQ, right? I started with the fried pork skins as an appetizer, and let me tell you, the portion was enormous! Honestly, it would have been a generous serving even at half the size. At just $3.99, it was a fantastic deal, and I took most of it home. For my main course, I had the brisket sandwich, which was excellent. They offered a great selection of sauces to choose from as well. My server, Danielle, was fantastic; she had a great attitude and was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

As a pit master I was impressed with their BBQ. Had the burnt ends and baby back ribs with Mac and cheese and beans as my sides. To be honest was not impressed with the ribs. No smoke ring and they fell off the bone (I’m more of a competition style rib that you have to bite off and like a good crust on the outside). Friend I was dining with opted for the salad bar which I should have got as well as it looked very fresh. The burnt ends were definitely the star of the show and our server was very nice and attentive. Offered me a platter combo that was worth the money. All in all descent bbq.

Good bbq...very busy....make reservations...but if you are just 2 people you can walk right in...we saw a huge line...but with just two they seated us right away. Expect to go boxes...enough food and good quality.
