Grocers Cafe - Vale of White Horse

This Cafe is lovely, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. We ordered freshly made sandwiches and a pot of tea. The Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Grocer Chef provided an amazing afternoon tea for my dad's 93rd birthday today. The price was very reasonable compared to other local options (£14.95 per person) and we had so much food that we had to take some home. The atmosphere on the shady patio was perfect for a hot summer day, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our niece and her husband stopped by just before closing time and were warmly welcomed with hot drinks. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable even though they were about to close. Thank you, we will definitely be booking for the next family birthday celebration.

Ordered sandwiches, plus a gluten free and a vegan afternoon tea, at fairly short notice. It was all amazing, very well presented, ready for collection at the time arranged.

Ordered 3 individually boxed afternoon teas for my Mother in Law’s lockdown birthday and a couple of friends. They enjoyed a virtual tea party in their own homes. Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes, excellent quality and quantity, highly recommend!
