Lovely freshly cooked meal, and very friendly and efficient landlord too. Would highly recommend, ashamed I don't live closer!!

We have just been to the pub for steak night. OMG It was amazing. Such good value and food was excellent. Shay makes you very welcome. We come over from Windsor to see my sister and brother in law and visited the pub with them a few times now. Can't praise them enough.

My sister and I had just arrived from SA and didnt know it was Mothers Day. We tried to have lunch at The Rose Crown Chilton, who naturally, were fully booked. The very friendly man behind the counter said if we were happy to wait an hour, he would assist as best he could. It was well worth the wait. It was absolutely delicious. What an amazing Sunday roast offering. We shall be sure to book in time this week. What a treat. And thank you also for such friendly service. We felt so welcome.
