Dreadfully disappointing experience. Small place, very busy. Took 15 mins to get served for drinks. Seated outside in the cold beer garden . Ordered the meal at 6.55. Told it would be 30mins. Went to check what was the hold up at 8.15 and told they must have lost our order. Management unperturbed by this but very generously offered us a refund. How kind. Better dining elsewhere.

A magnificent historic building with friendly staff. The food was absolutely incredible! Our steak sandwich and Caesar were faultless huge, very reasonable and delicious.

The host was welcoming, with convenient parking and no need to cross any streets. The food was fresh, expertly cooked, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was lovely.

8 minutes late after hours on the road and told lunch was not possible at 2.08 pm on a wednesday. I rang ahead to advise but it made no difference.

I had a very enjoyable midweek lunch outing at this restaurant. The daily special was a variety of parmigiana dishes for $18, which I found to be a good value with generous portions. The historical hotel has been well-preserved and maintained, with a charming country atmosphere that is very welcoming. Being there brought back memories of the country pub vibes from my younger days living in the countryside. Overall, a great experience.
