Cafe Mount Robson - Valemount

We really enjoyed our fresh made breakfast of grilled wraps/ sandwiches and fresh local fruit, what we didn't count on was leaving a purse behind and the owners husband dropping it off to us where we were (hours away) on his way by. Every single dollar still inside making what could have been the end of our holiday into a restoration in faith in people. Anyone on their staff could have easily helped themselves but they didn't and here we are delighted and our vacation back on track! Thanks Mount Robson Cafe!

We called in twice during our road trip. First of all the site gives the best views of Mount Robson so 'the place' to take pictures, secondly the hummingbirds on the visitor centre, the well stocked shop and fuel station and lastly this lovely café with lots of choice of food and drinks and at an amazing price considering the monopoly of the place with nothing for miles. In fact we found that a lot in Canada. In the UK the prices hike up if there is a monopoly but not anywhere we visited.

We hiked out of Berg Lake and stopped at the cafe for a well deserved beer after 4 days in the wilderness. was pleasantly surprised at the homemade snacks, great soups, funky atmosphere, local craft beer from Valemount (35 km away). Better than your average visitor centre!

Stopped here on route to refuel ourselves and take a rest. The staff were really nice and the food was great. Nice outdoor seating and lots of food and drink options to choose from. Would highly recommend.

We both ordered ranger burgers. Wow. A really big burger! The brioche bun was a nice surprise. Tasty pickle. Choice of sides: one of us had green salad, which was basic (greens, red cabbage, carrot) but fresh, the other had potato salad which was impressive, obviously homemade, skin-on potato salad. Good value for the meal. A quality burger for a bargain price! Don't let the cafeteria style fool you: this is a good lunch spot in a remote location.
