Sarak Restaurant - Valemount

As some may be aware, the restaurant has recently undergone renovations. The entire space has been updated with new tables, chairs, couches, and a fireplace, although the fireplace seems to serve no practical purpose.

I can't believe it, I feel like I'm being pranked. I ordered combo 5 with a lemonade, no ice.

Dirty restaurant with unappealing food. Wife and I had soup and sandwich. I won't eat here again. Poor value.

Valemount does not offer a lot of choices for eating after 6:00pm that we could find. The only place open was Sarak. Staff was limited, it took 45 minutes for my husband to get his meal, I waited another 20 - 30 minutes for mine. It was cold and the broccoli was raw. To say the least I was not impressed. This restaurant seemed to be the only restaurant open and it shouldn't have been. I feel sorry for the server that had to work that night.

We had a very good meal here. The service was great and the food delicious. Restaurant was pretty busy and they still managed to cope with our big group of 7.
