Feedback geven3rd time unlucky! We ate at Kest 'e twice last time we were in Valencia and were looking forward to our return. Since the place was very busy last time we booked a table in advance. When we arrived at 2120 on a Saturday evening only 4 tables were occupied so reservations are definitely not needed. We asked for the wine list and were offered white or red. The red was either Montepulciano d 'Abruzzo at 15 euros or Primitivo at 18 euros. Both seemed a bit overpriced for a local restaurant but the Montepulciano turned out to be quite pleasant. We ordered a Provolone Pizzaiolo as a starter and the waiter was kind enough to replace the ricotta and salami in the crust of the specialty Carrmello pizza with Gorgonzola at our request. The starter turned out to be tinned mini plum tomatoes over an invisible and small piece of an indeterminate cheese that had been melted and then congealed. The basil was a sprinkling of dried herb around the bowl and there was no bread to accompany a very wet dish that was tepid when it arrived and cold before we finished. The pizza was also almost cold when it arrived and was a pasty white colour apart from a few brown speckles round the edge. It was supposed to have smoked mozzarella on it but just had regular mozzarella that was also congealed. When we told the waiter the food had been cold he offered to remake the pizza but it was not an experience we wanted to repeat and on reflection we should have said something sooner. We noticed another table sent back an almost untouched plate of gnocchi and at the counter two other pizzas were sitting on the side for several minutes; no wonder they come out cold. Hopefully our third time was just unlucky but we are not going back to find out.
We were looking for somewhere close by our hotel after arriving late one evening. 2 pizzas. Bases were lovely, but different toppings. Both served together, but one could have done with a bit longer in oven. Absolutely fine though and service quick and friendly.
We were walking around and we passed in front of the restaurant, seeing some pizzas on the tables we convinced ourselves to try a good pizza (as we are Neapolitans we are very picky about PIZZA! . sitting at the table, the waiter immediately arrived offering us a drink .. it was a warm welcome! we ordered two pizzas .. excellent! I felt in Naples! Grazie mille ragazzi .. alla prossima
Soy italiano y llevo cuatro años en valence. Traté de varias pizzerías italianas, todas eran regulares, pero ninguno de ellos me goteó como para hacerme querer probarlo de nuevo hasta que conocí a Kest 'é. ellos ciertamente hacen la mejor pizza valence. la masa es increíble y es muy notable que los ingredientes son de alta calidad. Recomendación. Nota: si usted está acostumbrado a pizzas indotriales de bajo costo como domino 's, etc. Es mejor pensar que la pizza napolitana es completamente diferente. No es crujiente, es suave. salsas raras y ingredientes exóticos no se ponen encima, pero pocos ingredientes y calidad.
Muy buena pizza, napolitana, con bastante buenas combinaciones y creaciones. Pedimos uno con la cornisa llena de requesón y salami y otro con calabaza y salchicha y eran muy ricos. la atención es buena y el lugar bastante moderno.
