At first I was a little concerned as the menu was limited and had very little fish but our friend who is vegetarian ordered a Goat's Cheese salad which she was very happy with. I ordered the Pavé de Boeuf with a Maroilles cheese sauce and my wife chose the Veal with Maroilles sauce. We were given olives and a terrine of Rillettes before our order arrived which was very good, the only small criticism of the night was the home made brioch that was served with it. It simply did not go with Rillettes! As we had our friend's daughter with us she chose a steak haché from the children's menu When our plates arrived the were well presented and very generous! My beef was accompanied by haricot vert and a jacket potato and my wife's veal was sliced and baked in the oven with sliced potatoes covered in the sauce. By beef was very tender and cooked to perfection and the sauce was very rich which complimented the beef perfectly. My wife's veal was very tender and she enjoyed it immensely but struggled to finish the very generous dish. We did eventually order desserts, I ordered the Creme Brulée and my wife and friend both chose the Isle Flotant both dessert were excellent! My dessert arrived with the owner singing Happy Birthday to which everyone joined in and a second little birthday dessert on the side with a sparkler. I was to say the very least extremely happy, it was a lovely touch by the owners! Thank you. I would have no hesitation on visiting La Tourtiere again in the future or recommending the lovely little restaurant. With three main plates and three desserts plus a bottle of rosé and one child's menu the bill totalled 112€, excellent value for the quality of food and service we received!
That's a very hearty paver in the north! and apple pie don't talk about it.It's rare I didn't take a menu, the dish ample enough
Family restaurant that offers a varied regional menu: meats, pasta, pizzas, salads and of course tourtes. products are of good quality. the reception is friendly. To allow you to wait by tasting your aperitif, it is offered a terrine of rillettes accompanied by small breads, olives. Service is effective. the price quality ratio is correct.
The dishes are correct especially the famous pies/pizzas, the service is fast especially the noon. the staff is warm
We were well welcomed and installed on the terrace ... the setting is pleasant. with the aperitif, we were offered olives and rillettes the dishes are hearty and excellent, we had chosen the specialties to the meter and accompanied this with a little rosé well fresh and nice. More room in our stomachs for dessert!the staff is coming. Or a stop that I recommend!
