Combo Express - Vallejo

The crispy chicken is quite delicious, and the pepper chicken is especially enjoyable when served over rice. It features bell peppers, onions, and a tasty black bean sauce. If you call ahead, you can request fried fish fillets; I prefer to pop them in the oven for about 10 minutes to cook them a little more thoroughly. Don't get me wrong—it's already tasty! The lunchtime rush can lead to long lines, so patience is essential. That's why I like to go between 2 and 3 PM. The staff is very friendly and always greets you by name. However, I do think that some of the entrees tend to be a bit salty for my taste.

Whether you make a reservation or simply drop by, the food here is outstanding and the prices are fair. I've spent much more at other restaurants, and their food can't match the deliciousness of Combo Express.

This is the best spot for Chinese cuisine in Vallejo. The portion sizes are ample, the prices are reasonable, and they’re happy to make dishes that aren’t listed on the menu. Everything is absolutely delicious.

You definitely need to try this restaurant! The food is not only delicious but also very affordable. We walked by several times and saw long lines, which prompted us to finally give it a chance, and we were immediately impressed. This was back when I still ate meat, and the dish that everyone raves about is the fish. Believe me, you won't regret ordering it! There are plenty of other great options to try as well! And on top of that, the service is exceptionally friendly!

Great little spot to grab some Chinese food! Hands down favorite here is the salt pepper chicken. I love that everything on the steam table stays fresh because it's they're always refilling it; it gets that busy. I only gave 4 stars because sometimes the staff is too busy to enforce covid 19 safety protocols and they only offer two sizes if you're buying a la carte, small or large.
