De Bono Coffee Shop - Valletta

The veggie hot dog at De Bono was delicious, and they add all sorts of toppings. The space is very casual a kiosk with outdoor tables. The woman working was really friendly, and another customer encouraged us to get the carrot cake. There are lots of dessert options, although they aren't especially sweet because there's no added sugar. Updated from previous review on 2022 08 17

They offer a vegan hot dog with vegan cheese. We ordered something I can’t remember how to spell -they also had a non vegan version . It consisted of a baguette with mushrooms, vegan cheese, and a vegan sauce. It was really good and hit the spot. We also enjoyed a vegan energy ball and vegan cannelloni. They had multiple vegan desserts, so we will be returning to try them! The owner makes the food and she was very nice. Malta has a long ways to go for vegans, and this place was worth the visit we will be going back. Prices are good as well. Most of the desserts were in the 4.50 euro range. The baguette we got was 5.50. Alcohol available as well. All outdoor seating. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-25

We came here for vegan dessert and coffee. Both were very good

Only 4 stars because menu is not 100% vegan…but the vegan options are amazing! And the staff is stupid friendly. The homemade vegan cakes are exceptional. The pistachio pie was so good we went back for more, 2x in one dayHighly recommend!

There are a few menu options and most can be veganized. We have had the hotdog twice already and will probably go back again later! Friendly staff too
